"I've been insured through Travis Foster State Farm for eight or nine years and have been very satisfied with their service. They always answer the phone, and their staff has remained remarkably consistent over the years, so you're usually dealing with the same friendly people rather than a revolving door of employees.
I haven't had to file a claim, so I can't speak directly to the claims process, but State Farm has a strong reputation. One thing I especially appreciate is that they offer inland marine policies, which can be important for artists who need insurance coverage for their work. Not all insurance companies provide this option.
